Charlie Jumping
Charlie has been working on his Class A skydiving license, and I’ve been spending time out at a local DZ (that’s drop zone for all you regular people).
My father-in-law and Charlie’s co-worker jumped this weekend and I’ve been watching strangers jump for months now, so it’s time.
I will be jumping out of an airplane, this Saturday, at sunset.
This morning, my sister told me that my nephew, Dylan, told her he always wanted to jump.
He won’t ever get that chance, so I will be caring his picture in my pocket as a little token.
I’m sneaking in and adding this to a writer’s workshop I plan to link up to in a couple of days.
