I made chocolate covered strawberries with the boys the other day and they are so good!! Much, MUCH cheaper than preade ones and they tasted EXACTLY the same if not better!
Here are photos of the “event”. (on my iphone these look great but on my laptop screen they look HORRIBLE! How do they look for you?? )
I totally recommend that cheap stuff. I mean honest! I thought since it was only $2 that it would be nasty, waxy $2 chocolate but it wasnt! (we tasted a “Chip” before ruining the fruit!)
NO, I was not paid or given free chocolate to do this post. I just REALLY thought they were yummy and that my friends NEED to know they can have great, FAST chocolate covered strawberries at anytime!
oooh and we also did “homemade” bowling with this cheap little plastic set from the prize place from points at the pizza place.

Hello! If you have a product you would like me to review, please send me information on the product and I will consider adding it to my reviews. As of right now I do not see the need to put a price minimum on what you send but please keep in mind that my time is just as valueable as yours and if it’s not worth the effort, I will not take part! No matter how valueable your product is, I will review the item(s) with honesty. My friends and family read this blog and will not be willing to pad any reviews. Thank you.

Disclaimer: Twitter HELPED me find news links more quickly than a search engine-I did not rely on the tweets alone.
Today at 10:25 I got a call from a number I didn’t recognize. When I answered it was my husband. He was out of breath and kinda freaked out. A plane had just crashed into a nearby building (1/2 mile or so?) and everyone heard the explosion and felt the rumble. Well…he said he DID NOT feel the rumble. He was off in Codebodia. A place many of you may be familiar with. If not, ask a computer programmer. He or She will tell you. . .
He tried calling on his mobile but couldn’t get through. I’m not really sure where he called from. It wasn’t HIS desk. ANyways, he was out of breath because he’d just run in from outside, looking at the smoke trying to figure out exactly where it was coming from.
I immediately did a google search and didnt find much and BAM! it hit me. Twitter. Duh. SO I frantically typed in “plane crash #austin anyone know?” – or something like that. Then I clicked on my litle # sign and Bada BING! Information Jackpot. Others were frantically trying to find information, like me and others were linking us up with news articles.
I prefer not to post any “facts” or any of my opinions. You can do your own research. Here is twitter hashtag for #austin.
All I can say is WOW! Crazy morning for Austin, Tx.
I’m just so impressed with the information (overload?) I was able to recieve in such a SHORT amount of time.
The times, they are a-changing!

I’ve carried Mommy cards around off and on for 5 years now. In the past I’ve always printed my own. I didn’t really want to go that route this time because my printer is only kind of great and it get out of alignment 1/2 way through. Cards are about $20 and ink another $10ish. Plus it takes forever. And it’s monotonous. So … this time I designed something cute with an adorable kit from Shabby Pickle Designs. I did get the kit free, but that is a perk of hosting challenges over there. I think my disclaimer covers that? LOL – I have no idea if my disclaimer is adequete.
Ok. So back to the cards.

They real deal just came in the mail today. I think that was about a week? I didn’t pay for special shipping or anything. Just the cheap stuff. I hate shipping. The cards are cute and the colors are EXACTLY as I expected. I guess my screen is still calibrated. YAY. My total was around $29 ?? I can’t remember. Obviously it wasn’t a big deal different then just doing it at home – price wise.
I haven’t handed any out yet but I must say I like them. Very cute. But I get credit for THAT part
. Oh…they are slightly heavier then what I would print at home and “cleaner” (no preferations). I think next time I just might splurge and go 2 sided or glossy.
This post was ENTIRELY my doing. Vista Print had NOTHING to do with it.

Ok. This is going to be quick. I am feeling really overwhelmed this week. Lucas DID NOT break his nose (hit my chair and it bruised and became swollen) and he DID not ingest 1/2 bottle of cayenne pepper. Don’t ask. He’s fine. None in his eyes or mouth but, Pleaaaase? Stop?! Just for two minutes. LOL.
