The wheelchair mommy

We went to the Lake today. We didn’t set out to go, but we ended up there. We planned to eat at an Italian place out on 620, we had a coupon for buy one get one free. They were closed today though. We were only 5 minutes from Carlos and Charlie’s so we decided why not?!

It was GREAT!!!!!! IT was so relaxing and my food was fantastic. It was just what we needed. The weather was gorgeous and it was so relaxing.

We all had a blast and Will loved sitting so close to the water and looking at the boats.  I did’t have the good camera since we had no idea that is where we were going but we did  get a few good ones with Charlie’s phone.

My friend and neighbor, Elissa and her husband Tim, had a baby boy EARLY this morning. He was born at 12:23 a.m. and weighed somewhere in the 6 lb. range. Nana (Ann – Elissa’s mom) called me about 1 a.m. (per my request). She didn’t have all the details at the time and I haven’t talked to anyone else today. She said he looks kinda like Gage (their middle boy) but he really has his own look. I can’t wait to meet him!!!  I am sure Big brothers Jake and Gage are thrilled!!

We scheduled my c-section for May 20th. I am waiting on confirmation though. The office wasn’t able to talk to the hospital so we don’t know the time yet. I’m a little surprised we are only going one week early since I am measuring TEN days ahead.

I’m a little bigger than I was with William but only up 20 lbs. I think I look pretty good, if I do say so myself .

Last night I was having quite a few period like cramps and there was some blood when I was getting ready for bed. There wasnt much but it was red. I had a hard time going to sleep but thankfully I had my check-up today.

We got another U/S….and a good picture of his face. He’s DEFINITLY still a boy.

The doc also did a pelvic and said there was maybe a little brown discharge but that was it and my cervix was closed up!! SO that is good. Who knows what it was last night but I am still cramping..

Will says he hears lightening McQueen thunder. LOL

Will wanted to help in the kitchen yesterday so I let him get his stool and turn the oven on. Then he refused to take it back. I finally convinced him and said, “see, it’s a piece of cake”. He stopped and looked at me and said, “you goober”.
