The wheelchair mommy

I gained way too much weight this last appointment and I am miserable. My doctor TRIED to move my c-section to the 13th but there were NO openings so we are doing it on the 16th at 4pm. 4 days is 4 days!!

Oh, I asked the doctor and he said he thinks he’s about 7 lbs.

Patti’s father died last week. He had been sick for a while, so we expecting it. That never makes it any easier. Here is an excellent picture of Will and his Great Grand dad in November 2006.

I’m sitting here scrapping/surfing and all of a sudden I am STARVING.

So I IM Charlie — no answer and then I call him. He’s 2 streets away. I make him turn around and get me a burger and fries from whataburger.
It was sooooooooooo yummy.

The other night we were watching Desperate Housewives and someone was eating cookies. Yeah. You know where this is going.

So. Yup. Definitly pregnant and ready to have this baby. 26 days to go!!

Sooooo, not sleeping well at night.

I wanted to give him his privacy and not be one of those “crazy people”. He introduced himself to Will first, then us. (Charlie and I )

We were having lunch at the same place ( http://www.dirtymartins.com/ ) and I noticed this table of men is VERY nice suits at a table and one of them had to move so I could get by and go to the restroom (that was actually the governor but I didn’t know it at the time).

When I came out Charlie and Will were waiting for me and then Will had to go potty. When Charlie got back, he had to help me in the van because this suburban or some other big black SUV was parked to close to open the door.

I saw the guys again and told dh that they had to be secret agents or body guards for someone – then I turned to tell Will to get in his seat and saw the governor. I only recognized him because he resembles my OB. Hehe, anyways he came over and talked to us for a few and that is about it.

okay . . . so I spent 5 hours in L&D the other night.

I started having bad burning/cramping the night before last and I cramped and contracted all day. They were often about 15 minutes apart.

I called my doc office and they said better safe than sorry. Thankfully Mom and Karen were here.

WHen I got there they pretty much stopped but I was slightly dehydrated (found keytones in my urine) and then they checked my cervix and I am VERY thick but dialated 1.5 – which makes me know I am not CRAZY … something is happening. They also ran a test to see if I am at risk for early delivery and I am NOT — so that’s good.

I am going to talk to my doctor and see if we can deliver at 38 instead of 39. The last few days have been awful and miserable. My mom just so happened to be in town visiting so she stayed so I don’t have to do anything…they didn’t put me on bedrest — in fact said continue normal activities. Kinda crazy. My doctor wasnt on call so I haven’t talked to him yet, but I do see him next Wednesday.

I was having contractions I didn’t know I was having and the ones I had been feeling all day stopped….like DH said — it’s like taking a car to the mechanic … the problem stops.

Today will asked me if he could open my skin (navel) so he could see the baby. I told him no. He asked if it was glued to tight. LOL!

On a serious note, he saw a picture of my himself with my dad. I told him that Paw-Paw got really old and sick and died. He immediatly asked why the doctors didn’t try to fix him. I told him they did but he was just too sick. He said,  “ok”. The he said,”Okay, so that PawPaw died, but I still have my other PePaws, right?” — WOW, kinda deep for a 3 year old.
