The wheelchair mommy

I am 10 weeks today and had my 10 week check-up. All is well and we got to hear the baby’s heart!!! YAY!! When we left Will said, “bye-bye baby heartbeat!”.

Will has a new thing where he says “FINE” when we want him to stop something and start counting to 3. It’s quite funny.

Not sure if I ever mentioned that Will likes to “nuggle”….for some reason he leaves the s off of snuggle.

Okay. This is funny. The other day we were outside and Will was playing with playdoh. Out of the blue he says, “Mommy, I have a penis.” Pause. “Daddy has a penis, too.”

Then he stops. So I ask, “Well, what about Mommy?”. “No, you don’t have a penis.” “Well, what do I have?!”. “You have…….a BABY!”

No joke.

So……I **HOPE** Will is back in his bed. We just tried it COLD TURKEY last night and he didn’t like it but he did go to sleep. I foresee a long month or two, but goal one is Done!

Finally…here is Baby # 2

These are my 7 week belly pics … I’m already soooooo bloated…ugh!!

Had my appointment today!!

I am 6 weeks 2 days. My due date is May 27th and I will most likely deliver a weekish early (so maybe 20th? )

The doctor thought I MIGHT be 8-10 weeks but there is a cyst on my ? right ? ovary that he was feeling too.

We saw the heartbeating away!! I have a GREAT ultrasound picture I will upload later…maybe tomorrow.

My docs office DOES Have a 3D machine but he said they don’t really know how to use that function, but we can play around with it for the BIG one. LOL

Will is totally clinging on Charlie right now and it’s pretty stressful for me in the morning. He throws a fit anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.  I actually broke down and cried this morning when a friend asked how things were going.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH and Will can almost count to 10!!!!!!

He starts at 4 (but has done 1-3 a million times ) and sometimes skips a number and jumps back to 4 before he gets to 10 but he has done it straight through!!!!!!!

So… I had my first appointment today.

My doc was delivering a baby when I got there so I peed in a cup, let them bruise me drawing blood and then did the “when was your last period” thing with the nurse, weight, prenatals, BP, etc.

and then he had an emergency c-section to do so we are going back on Thursday MORNING …

Will is allowed to go to the office which is GREAT. My neighbor can watch him sometimes, but not always. He loves to hear baby heartbeats on TV so I know he will get a kick out of hearing HIS sibling. I also heard it;s a great way for the older child to bond and prepare for baby.

When I got home Will was at the park. When he got home he was in a bad mood. He hit his head at the park on the car thing he likes and on top of that he was sad that playtime was over.

He told me, “Go to the doctor so I can go to Elissa’s!!” silly goose.
