I have a confession to make – I taught my little sister to climb out of her crib when she was a year old. My punishment was having to share a bed with her for the next 5 years. True story.
My son was 13 months old when he came out of the crib for his safety. I had a futon chair the size of a twin bed that I used on the floor and also put up a rail so he wouldn’t fall out. I also put a gate up so he couldn’t come out of his room. Good luck.
