He&#8217;s in first grade and checking out &#8220;blue&#8221; and &#8220;red&#8221; star books. That means 2-3 grade books.<\/p>\n<p>I found 6th grade sight words and he can read those. There have been very words we&#8217;ve shown him that he has not been able to read.<\/p>\n<p>He just totally gets it. I&#8217;m very proud.<\/p>\n<p>He is still working on chapter books though. He just can&#8217;t seem to wrap his head around not finishing in one sitting.
