All opinions are my own.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>I finally attended a Touch-a-Truck event! Kristin Shaw, from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twocannoli.com\" target=\"_blank\">Two Cannoli<\/a>, brought the official event to Austin a few years ago and every year, something has come up and I could not attend.<\/p>\n<p>I was BEYOND excited when I realized I could go this year and to make it even better, it was at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wheelchairmommy.com\/2014\/camp-mabry\/\">Camp Mabry<\/a>. There is so much history there and my kids love it.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to know more about Touch-A-Truck, check out<a href=\"http:\/\/www.austinchildrenshelter.org\/site\/PageServer?pagename=events_Touch_a_Truck\"> The Austin Children&#8217;s Shelter website.<\/a> This fundraiser brought in more than $40,000 last year. I can not WAIT to hear the numbers for this year.<\/p>\n<p>I am sure they surpassed their goals, despite the mud and threatening clouds that never broke.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s not much left to say, except I hope I see you there next year.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few shots from the event. I&#8217;ll post all the military pictures in a few days.
