On December 11, 2014 ( 540 days ago) \u00a0we said goodbye to the baby bed where all 3 of my tiny babies slept. It’s still sitting in our garage waiting for me to convert it into a bench. I just can’t bear to part with it.<\/p>\n

We had just moved into our new house and Nathan was 2.5 years old and ready to be a big boy!<\/p>\n

Almost exactly one year ago today, he started asking for a bigger bed. I know this because it came across my remember when Facebook feed just a couple of weeks ago. That’s what prompted the search for a new bed.\u00a0Life just got in the way and we never got around it.<\/p>\n

This past weekend we finally said goodbye to that little big boy bed, in exchange for his really big boy bed.<\/p>\n

All 3 of our boys slept in this little car bed and now, we have handed it down to one of my great-nephews!<\/p>\n

Something about knowing someone I love is still sleeping in it makes it a little bit easier.<\/p>\n

\nWe found a great deal on a bunkbed on none other than craigslist! We had originally planned on getting the same loft bed the other two boys have but I wanted something with a bed on bottom. \u00a0I anticipate my mom wanting to visit more often now that she’s alone.
