My middle baby, Lucas, is 6. He is growing up right before my eyes!!<\/p>\n

Lucas turns 6 today. How can that possibly be?!<\/p>\n

It seems like just yesterday that I had a placental abruption<\/a> and he came blaring into our lives, only to better them in so many ways!<\/p>\n

Lucas is such an amazing boy. \u00a0He can be so incredibly stubborn and incredibly smart.He’s very loving and generous, frequently giving something of his to his little brother and offering me money\/leftover change.<\/p>\n

He’s just finishing up his Tiger Cub program at Tae Kwon Do \u00a0and we will be starting swim lessons on Friday.<\/p>\n

We’ve wrapped up our first year of homeschool and he’s proven to be very good at math and having a slight struggle with reading.<\/p>\n

That’s okay. I’m not worried. He’s a younger Kinder boy and we will have plenty of time to work on that this summer\/fall.<\/p>\n

He loves Star Wars the Clone Wars (Captain Rex to be exact!) and his little stuffed grey kitty. He still loves “shampoo”, a stuffed Shamu Whale we got at Sea World 2 years ago.<\/p>\n

It’s beyond bittersweet to see my boys growing so quickly. I’m not sure if I want to cry or be happy. What are you thoughts and feelings on your little ones growing so fast?
