In short, photoability is a place for stock photos of physically disabled people, taken BY their family, friends, and themselves (I take selfies, don&#8217;t you??!) in such a way that TRULY represents them.<\/p>\n<p>The goal is to encourage advertisers to step outside of their comfort zone and pick us.<\/p>\n<p>How awesome is that?!<\/p>\n<p>All too often you see a grumpy, sickly person in a wheelchair or amputee, not someone happy and living life. You don&#8217;t see someone like me.<\/p>\n<p>In honor of Mother&#8217;s Day, there is a special <a href=\"http:\/\/photoability.net\/gallery\/144-0.html\" target=\"_blank\">Mother&#8217;s Day <\/a>Collection\u00a0on the website. I think this is a fabulous opportunity for paras\/quads and various other disabilities to be seen in REAL settings.<\/p>\n<p>I think it&#8217;s a fabulous opportunity for YOU to change your perception and see that wheelchairs are not barriers. They do not keep us from doing everything that you do. Ski Vacations. Sailing adventures. Air travel. Dating. Weddings.
