In 2007\/2008 I attempted a self portrait 365 project. That was long before pinterest and I had Kate Crafton to think. She is an amazing photographer that i “knew” through message boards.<\/p>\n

Anyways, I received a bit of flack for it and was called narcissistic and other names that weren’t very nice, so i quit.<\/p>\n

However, now that I have 3 boys instead of 1.5, I think it’s even more important to have pictures of myself.<\/p>\n

I also have come to realize that I need to take more pictures of my husband. He’s always working and only around on the weekends so by default he’s not in nearly enough pictures.<\/p>\n

We will get to that another day.<\/p>\n

Anyways, I decided to scale back on my newest attempt and only take 52 pictures.<\/p>\n

Despite “failing” to take 365 pictures, looking back 5-6 years later, I think the project was a huge success.<\/p>\n
