They will also recauterize his nose while they have him under. They can do things a little more invasively than they did in the in/out office visit.

Why all of this you ask!? Well, he snores and he’s always tired. That’s not normal for a 5 year-old. They should be bouncing off the walls, FULL of energy, not crying because they are too tired to go out and have fun. They ran blood work – TWICE. It’s always normal. So, we went to the ENT again, this time for possible sleep apnea. He took one look at Lucas’ tonsils and said YES – let’s get those out. So there you have it. We booked surgery for my 5 year old.

This weekend my 8.5 year old was at a TaeKwonDo lock-in. . . You think you know where this is going but you do not….

They were playing dodge ball and his friend fell on his foot. . . and it broke.

He fought through the pain all night so he could sleep at his friends but we insisted on taking him straight to the after-hours clinic. The metatarsal connected to his big toe is broken.

He’s now wearing a boot and using crutches. Will is going back for follow-up X-rays the day before so it will be a busy week.

Probably NOT the best month to start my new The Pampered Chef business huh?

Have your kids ever had surgery or a broken bone!?

We have had quite the summer.
