So many parents worry about their kids staring and pointing at people that are different.<\/p>\n

People in chairs.<\/p>\n

People with purple hair.<\/p>\n

People that are REALLY tall, REALLY fat, really short or REALLY skinny.<\/p>\n

Kids, stare.<\/p>\n

My kids stare & point, too.<\/p>\n

EVEN at people in chairs!!<\/p>\n

It’s as if they are seeing a wheelchair for the first time.<\/p>\n

They ask the SAME questions your kids do.<\/p>\n

Why is he in there?<\/p>\n

Why isn’t he walking?<\/p>\n

So, when your kids POINT or stare, politely let them no it isn’t POLITE but they are welcome to ask that person if they really want to know.<\/p>\n

I promise we don’t bite and we love to explain to kids why we are in a chair.<\/p>\n

It’s the only way they will see that we are nornal, too!<\/p>\n

(Of course, I wouldn’t ask someone why they are fat, so use common sense!!)<\/p>\n
