Reeves"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"post_message_633117\"> \t\t \t\t\t<font style=\"font-family: Tahoma; color: #808000\"><font size=\"3\">Before I get into the wonderful day that I had yesterday I&#8217;d like to take a minute to remember someone that passed away yesterday. <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font style=\"font-family: Tahoma; color: #808000\"><font size=\"3\">DH told me just before he left for work that Christopher Reeves passed away yesterday&#8230;most people will just feel bad for his family and think of what a horrible thing it is.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font style=\"font-family: Tahoma; color: #808000\"><font size=\"3\">It could directly effect me and every other person that suffers from paralysis so his death is a little more emotional. He had to be the BEST spokesman there could EVER be for us and now that he&#8217;s gone it make you wonder what will happen with stem cell research on the paralysis end. Sure people will fight to keep it going for other diseases .. . but what what this one &#8212; it&#8217;s not a &#8220;disease&#8221; but it is a problem.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font style=\"font-family: Tahoma; color: #808000\"><font size=\"3\">More about HOW he died. He was in the hospital for cardiac arrest that was a direct result of an infection he received from a pressure sore.  That in itself is soooo scary. I was in and out of the hospital for FIVE months before DH and I married because of a pressure sore. . . the doctors told us how dangerous it was but we didnt think it could KILL anyone <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font style=\"font-family: Tahoma; color: #808000\"><font size=\"3\">Well thats really all I have to say for now . . . I&#8217;m usually not even up this early <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/baby.ourlittleuniverse.com\/images\/smilies\/blush.gif\" title=\":blush:\" class=\"inlineimg\" border=\"0\" \/> (I sleep until 10 or so, trying to get ALL the rest I can)<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Before I get into the wonderful day that I had yesterday I&#8217;d like to take a minute to remember someone that passed away yesterday.
