The blogosphere is all about connecting with other bloggers, and connecting with brands. I don’t usually work with brands. It’s not my goal. If an opportunity presents itself, I take it.<\/p>\n

This last week there is quite a bit of talk about monetizing your blog. Again, not something I really care about. I want to make sure blogging stays fun and blogging continues to be for me and my kids.<\/p>\n

I won’t deny that I love the occasional perk. That would be lying. I won’t deny that if I did make money off my blog, I wouldn’t be ecstatic. I’m just not willing to taint my blog with crap to get it.<\/p>\n

I’m not going to put a banner where my about me is supposed to be because someone will pay me a few bucks. I may be willing to put a banner on my sidebar, below all my stuff, if I feel it works.<\/p>\n

All that being said, I was inspired to quickly put together a cute Media Kit. It doesn’t have much, but that’s ok. It works for me and what my goals as a blogger are.<\/p>\n

If you are a good friend of mine and want me to put together one like mine for you, let me know. If you have photoshop, I can send the template I made to you. My media kit was inspired by this one from The Truth About Motherhood<\/a>.<\/p>\n
