If I know you and you have had problems, but I&#8217;ve missed it, I am TRULY sorry.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s that? Blog bullying. Yup. We are apparently all still in high school. Or elementary. That may be understating it. Some of the bullying is quite severe and just down right horrific. So, I have decided that I would take one day out of my personal posts and dedicate it to all the mommy (and other) bloggers out there have been ridiculed and bullied for being who they want to be and for voicing their opinions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.themompledge.com\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i1224.photobucket.com\/albums\/ee362\/efloraross\/Pledgebutton-1-1.png\" alt=\"BWS tips button\" width=\"160\" height=\"160\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.efloraross.com\/\">You can take the pledge, too.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now that I have taken the pledge, it is important that I blog by these standards:<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>The Mom Pledge<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em><strong><span style=\"color: #404040;\"><strong>I am<\/strong> a  proud Mommy Blogger. I\u00a0will conduct myself with integrity in all my  blogging activities. I can lead by example.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em><strong><span style=\"color: #404040;\">I  pledge<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #0088cc;\"> <\/span>to treat my fellow  moms with respect. I will acknowledge that there is no one, &#8220;right&#8221; way  to be a good Mom. Each woman makes the choices best for her  family.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em><strong>I believe<\/strong> a  healthy dialogue on important issues is a good thing. I will welcome\u00a0differing\u00a0opinions when  offered in a respectful, non-judgmental manner. And will treat those who  do so in kind.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em><strong>I stand<\/strong> up against online bullying.  My blog is my space. I will not tolerate comments that are rude,  condescending or disrespectful.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em><strong>I refuse<\/strong> to give those who attack a  platform. I will remove their remarks from my blog with no mention or  response. I can take control.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em><strong>I want<\/strong> to see moms work together to  build one another up, not tear each other down. Words can be used as  weapons. I will not engage in that behavior.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em><strong>I affirm<\/strong> that  we are a community.
