I&#8217;ll try not to bore everyone with all the details but it&#8217;s definteley worth recapping. Charlie&#8217;s Aunt was in Texas for a conference and when she finished she decided to come visit for the rest of the weekend.<\/p>\n<li>Friday- Arrived and dinner at The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.catfishparlour.us\/\">Catfish Parlour<\/a> (where I saw a local DJ just as he was leaving so I ddn&#8217;t get to say hello. I tweeted it to him later though!)<\/li>\n<li>Saturday-Mavis and I hit a couple of garage sales in the morning. (Charlie doesn&#8217;t like to go. That&#8217;s for sure!!) In the afternoon we went to the lake and ate at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rudys.com\/\">Rudy&#8217;s BBQ<\/a>. We also met a boat neighbor. Listening to him talk, we are on THE party dock. FUN! FUN! Mavis really enjoyed the boat and we had some AWESOME wind!!<\/li>\n<li>Sunday &#8211; Mavis and I  shopped!!!!!!!!! Lots of shopping. All boy free. We took her to<a href=\"http:\/\/www.maudies.com\/\"> Maudie&#8217;s<\/a> for dinner. YUM!<\/li>\n<p>It was a great weekend and we were able to introduce her to several of our local favorites!<\/p>\n<p>That was about it!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>had a very fun, BUSY weekend.
