While we were in Puerto Rico I snapped a few pictures of the Wyndham Rio Mar property to try and help with questions about the accessibility.<\/p>\n

 I would have to give them five stars.<\/p>\n

The pools had lifts and almost everything was flat or there were ramps.<\/p>\n

The elevators were fast, which is always a bonus in my book.<\/p>\n

There was no wheelchair access once you hit the sand, but that’s just common sense. I guess a few beaches in the USA have decks in the Sand all the way to the water but I’ve never seen or used one in Texas.<\/p>\n

I don’t think they offered a beach wheelchair, I never asked. I personally don’t like them because I’m still sitting up and someone has to push me. <\/p>\n

I’d rather lay on the lounge chair and soak up the sun. <\/p>\n

 My husband carried me to a beach lounges chair and we ordered pina coladas and didn’t move for 6 hours. It was heaven.<\/p>\n
