We visited the Bryan Museum, which yes, was accessible! As soon as he saw us coming, he greeted us out front and took us around to the lovely elevator. <\/p>\n

The Bryan museum is a home that used to be an orphanage, so the history is very rich. The majority of it was still standing after the great hurricane in 1900 and there were many survivors inside of it.<\/p>\n

There were iPads at each display so you could read more in depth about the item you were looking it.<\/p>\n

It Covered a lot of Texas history, not just Galveston!<\/p>\n

There were absolutely no pictures of you had to turn any purses, diaper bags or other bags. Just FYI.<\/p>\n

We also met up with Traci, Dave and the kids for ice cream at the LaKing’s candy store. When I pick the spot, I had no idea that it was a big huge tourist stop. Ugh. Yes, I know I was a tourist too, but I like to find the places that not everyone else is trying to visit.<\/p>\n

We were hoping to watch them pull taffy but we happened to be there the one and only day they don’t do it. Go figure! I guess it’s a good excuse to go back.<\/p>\n
