We spent the second half of our vacation on Galveston Island. We actually got out and did more than just sit in the sand and sun all day! <\/p>\n

One of our stops was to the Galveston RR Museum. It was incredible.<\/p>\n

I would say a little over 1\/2 of it was accessible. I wasn’t able to go into each individual engine, caboose or car but there was enough to enjoy. I feel I got my money’s worth. <\/p>\n

Sadly, in 2008, Hurricane Ike took many of the collectibles. I can’t imagine the things we missed by waiting until NOW to see this amazing collection.<\/p>\n
