YAY!!! Now starts my journey!<br \/>\nAnyways, I didnt test first this morning \u2014 I was kinda scared. Pattiwas coming over around noon thirty so I wanted to DEFINITLY test before then so Charlie would have a couple hours to digest it Well around 11 I was feeling tired so I went to lie down. After I got up I went ahead and tested and Oh my! Those line came up soooooo fast! I called him in and he laughed and almost cried and wasn\u2019t sure how we are going to afford it (things are tight since we havent sold our house and dont have tennents in it )Anyways we hugged and kissed and Patti got there about an hour after! I called my mom and told her \u2014 she made me promise I would when we were talking two days ago about my appetite being wierd.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ramblings.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Monday, April 12, 2004<\/p>\n<p>I have not made a doc appointment yet \u2014 I need to get a suppliment on my dissability medicare first so it covers the other 20% that what I have doesn\u2019t.<br \/>\nLast night I lifted my shirt and told Charlie to take a long hard look \u2014 my belly wouldn\u2019t be that flat much longer\u2026.<br \/>\nhere is what my baby looks like ( I think I am due on Dec. 20th!)<br \/>\nGOSH I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED!! I know I have looked at that damn test at least 20 times. I\u2019ve wanted this forever and thought I was going to have to wait forever more \u2014 but there were definitly others plans for me.<\/p>\n<p><strong>pregnancy hormones?!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thursday, April 15, 2004<\/p>\n<p>Now as far as what else I wanted to say \u2014- My first \u201cpregnancy hormone\u201d blame happened today<br \/>\nI was eating lunch w\/DH and nothing went right \u2014 the fries were soggy and the burger came out all wrong and instead of getting pissed like I usually do I burst into tears<br \/>\nGot fresh NOT soggy fries and $10 gift certificate out of it tho<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, April 16, 2004<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I napped for TWO hours the other day\u2026 how did that happen?!<br \/>\nI have been good about only taking one test but its HARD! I want to take more \u201cjust to make sure\u201d ya know? But AF isnt here obviously so I shouldnt worry<\/p>\n<p><strong>digital<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday, April 18, 2004<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ok. I caved. I bought a DIGITAL test. I had to see the words PREGNANT. Charlie just rolled his eyes. LOL<br \/>\nOh\u2026we are calling the baby \u201cBUMP\u201d.<br \/>\nI am having lunch with a friend (lori Fridlin) from out of state tomorrow and I am going to tell her \u2013it will probably be the only time I get to see her the whole pregnancy\u2026<br \/>\nand then I am going to the only Old Navy in the Austin area that has Mat. clothes to look at sales (its about 30ish miles from my house and I am meeting her close to it so why not\u00c2 and Charlie said I can buy *some* stuff\u00c2 )<br \/>\nOn a PERSONAL NOTE my boobs are starting to tingle a bit around the nipples and it feels REALLY odd\u2026<br \/>\nI am calling my doctor Monday and will see when he wants to bring me in!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday, April 19, 2004<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I am 5 weeks today !!\u00c2 It\u2019s so awesome that the heart starts beating today\u00c2 Altho outside the body, BEATING IS BEATING!!!<br \/>\nWow! That was a slooooooow week!<br \/>\nI go to the doctor this thursday morning and I got a recommendation for a GREAT older doctor that supposedly delivered some STAR babies, including one of Melanie Griffith\u2019s\u00c2 I will have to check him out.<br \/>\nMan I have been so tired and bloated feeling!<\/p>\n<p><strong>telling<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tuesday, April 20, 2004<\/p>\n<p>ok \u2014 I am sooo pregnant I cried during a baby story and that\u2019s not normal for me \u2014 misty YES \u2014 bawling \u2014 no.<br \/>\nI can\u2019t wait any longer to spill the beans!! So\u2026\u2026we are telling MIL tomorrow at dinner and I can tell everyone else!!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cat&amp;#8217;s outta the bag!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Friday, April 23, 2004<\/p>\n<p>IT\u2019S OFFICIAL!!!! The Doctor confirmed it!! YAY!!!!<br \/>\nPatti was quite thrilled to learn she\u2019s going to be a grandma and couldnt wait to tell someone so she told the waitress at the place we were eating! Now this wasnt just ANY waitress! MIL and DH have been repeat customers of hers for 10 years but dont associate with her outside so that was neat!!<br \/>\nWhen we were outside talking afterwards this little one year old boy came up to me and crawled in my lap and was hugging me! Now beforehand he was \u201cflirting\u201d and I was waving at him! Well the little boy\u2019s dad overheard us talking so we all kind of started talking and thats when he climbed in my lap .. He was wanting to snuggle and hug!! it was sooooo sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!<br \/>\nGlenn on the otherhand was shocked and speechless!!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sick<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tuesday, April 27, 2004<\/p>\n<p>Not much to report except my M\/S is getting a TINY bit more intense but still tolerable and not that bad.<br \/>\nMy asthma is driving me nuts!!!!!! and I cant take my inhaler<br \/>\nI went to my mom\u2019s and that town makes me sick! Hopefully the wheezing goes away soon!!<\/p>\n<p><strong>took it anyways<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thursday, April 29, 2004<\/p>\n<p>I looked up info on Asthma\/inhalers because I was miserable the night before last and everything I read about steriod inhalers was the opposite of what my doctor said so I went ahead and took it! It was take it and live or dont and go to the ER and wait for hours\u2026.I told Charlie that if I am not getting adequate oxygen then the baby isnt and thats not good for either of us!<br \/>\nI need to take my mom\u2019s ginger suggestion seriously but its just so gross!!<br \/>\nMorning Sickness is slowly getting worse \u2026<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Guess What?
