1. We are back into a routine! <\/h3>\n

It Feels great to be back into our regular routine. Everything is clean and organized again. As much as I love the break and love everyone being home I hate the added cutter and it’s just not as easy to function hundred percent without a schedule. Of course we are homeschooling Lucas again so our normal is truly back to normal! <\/p>\n

2. Yes, I said we are homeschooling again.<\/h3>\n

  
\nLucas came back home. I never wanted him to go to public school but he begged. He quickly realized it wasn’t everything he imagined and we made the decision to bring him back home. He made a few awesome friends that we hope to keep in touch with.  In fact, we already have a playdate scheduled for tomrrow!!<\/p>\n

We had most of our curriculum already so I’ve just been piecing together what we actually want to use. I’ll do a post on that another day after we have a little progress to report! <\/p>\n

\n3. I have a mini update on Nathan’s eyes<\/h3>\n

\nNathan had a follow-up appointment with the retina doctor this week. Everything looks good but he saw a Lisch Nodule on the left eye at 3 o’clock. It was NOT there 6 months ago. This doesn’t really mean much. It’s just a spot related to NF on his eye. It is not affecting his vision and has nothing to do with why his eye is crossed.<\/p>\n

4. Cub Scouts<\/h3>\n

\nWilliam had his last den meeting as a Cub Scout this week. How bittersweet!<\/p>\n

He will be awarded his Arrow of Light later this month and CROSS-OVER into Boy Scouts. We are not 100% sure if he will continue. He is ready to try new things and this can take up so much time, not really leaving room for extras.<\/p>\n

5. Family photos<\/h3>\n

For some strange reason I can get my mac to read my card, but I guess that doesn’t matter much. I just took grainy pictures of the screen.<\/p>\n

We attempted to take family photos this week and that didn’t go well. At all…Well, I guess a couple of the individual pictures with the kids might be okay …<\/p>\n

We can try again at later date. I think it so important to document your family every year.<\/p>\n

We usually take our picture sometimes between October and February. I have a few weeks.
