I can&#8217;t believe the boys were off for an entire week. I really do miss having them home all day. &nbsp;The boys were talking about how disappointed they were to be going back &amp; I&#8217;m incredibly disappointed they are.<\/p>\n<p>Our weekend was pretty busy. &nbsp;Friday night we got our lights up. Sorta! We bought this laser light thing that splashes the house with lights. Done and Done. i&#8217;ll try to get a picture of it soon.<\/p>\n<p>We woke up Saturday morning, only to realize that one of our cats (Skipper) had spent the entire night out in the (almost freezing) cold. Maybe he will stop trying to escape but I doubt it! He&#8217;s quite the escape artist.<\/p>\n<p>We spent most of the morning juggling&nbsp;furniture. Well Charlie and his dad did. I just directed. Thank you Glenn for your help with that!&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m thrilled I can now get into our unused school room. It&#8217;s In desperate need of organization.<\/p>\n<p>We really like the new layout for our formal living room and because the boys love the red\/purple sectional that was originally in there so much we are going to scotch guard it and turn it into patio seating. Our patio is huge and we needed more seating anyways so it worked out. I&#8217;ll do a full post on this soon!&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10510\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wheelchairmommy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/IMG_6324-e1448898946142.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_6324.JPG\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\"><\/p>\n<p>We went to lunch with my FIL and then to Target for a few things, picked up our wreath and finally came home. Our local High School band will be playing in the Macy&#8217;s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2016, so they are doing all sorts of fundraisers to pay for the trip.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10502\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wheelchairmommy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/IMG_6272-e1448898972414.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_6272.JPG\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10500\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wheelchairmommy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/IMG_6275-e1448899004285.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_6275.JPG\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\"><\/p>\n<p>I made Oreo truffles for an after Thanksgiving Chili social with our usual group of friends. It was fun night of good wine in chocolate dipped glasses, warm food, crackling fires and fantastic people. The big boys were even able to go next door and hang out with a friend for a bit. I made a quick and easy Turkey pot pie for dinner to use up some of those leftovers and we mostly just lazed around and enjoyed the last little bit of our weekend&#8230; Except for Charlie of course.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He had some Thanksgiving cleanup to do, there was new amazing art work to be hung (more on that soon!!) &nbsp;and he needed to rearrange things on the patio just a bit so he could actually get the couch out there.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\nWe wrapped up with a partial game of farkle. And with that, Thanksgiving week is officially a wrap.<\/p>\n<p>I believe the boys have three weeks left of school before they are off for Christmas vacation. We are all looking forward to that.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At this point I believe Lucas&#8217;s desire is to finish out 1st grade and then come back home for second.
