Shopping for my wedding dress was a piece of cake!! I immediately knew what I wanted, the dress shop had ONE dress that matched every bit of criteria and it was PERFECT!
I wanted it to be 2-piece (shocker!!), beaded and have organza.
My advice if you are newly engaged, in a wheelchair and looking for a wedding dress?
Go with a 2-piece. Why 2-piece? That works best for the chair. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. One-piece dresses are not usually your friend unless they have stretch to them. They will tug and pull and you will be uncomfortable. You will want to avoid a long train. If you desperately want a beautiful train, find one that is detachable or easily modified to be detachable so you can attach it to the back of your chair. Why? No one will see it if you are sitting on it :). I think if you just keep mind the basic rules you normally use for dressing, you will succeed. The only issue will be one EVERY bride faces. Chair or not. Finding THE dress.
I think it’s quite lovely, if I do say so myself!! The dress is by Mori Lee and I still love it today. In fact, I wore it about 2 years ago when a friend was starting up a wedding venue!
I never had REAL bridal portraits done so I was thrilled at the oppurtunity. This was my favorite from the session.
