I keep putting off the BIG post I need to write. The one that give a nice big play by play of my hospital stay and explains JUST what happened. I’ll get to it. Someday. Soon. I promise.
I think we knew surgery was going to happen within the first week I was in the hospital. I knew within a day I wanted an Annie and Isabel gown and tweeted as much.
I couldn’t take my eyes off the cute Zebra print one. It had hot pink trim. You all know how I love my pink.
It didn’t take long before the amazing sisters told me to check my email. I did. They wanted to gift a gown to me! How amazing is that? They were gifting it to me as part of their Feel Better Campaign.
I can’t tell you enough how much I have grown to adore the 2 sisters behind the company. They have their own amazing stories and struggles that will touch your heart. They are also ALL BOY moms. How can I not love them?!
My gown arrived within just a couple of days and the compliments started pouring in. I wanted to make sure it stayed clean so I only wore it during the day when I would be up and about or when I knew I would have visitors. I probably should have ordered a second gown but I didn’t know how long I was going to be stuck there. You know how that goes, right?!
Here are a couple of pictures of me wearing The Susan. Make sure you keep these amazing women in mind if you or anyone you know has a hospital stay in the future.
This post contains my opinions and was purely out of the kindness of my heart. I wanted to repay Selena and Anna for their kindness by sharing with my readers and friends. I did get a free gown but this post was not required.
