I know most people consider this to be strange, but I missed volunteering when we homeschooled. I was super excited and eager to organize Will’s class auction basket this year. I truly enjoy volunteering and helping my kids’ teachers. I don’t get to be in the classroom, because I still have a little with me, so I look for other ways to help.
Lucas’s teacher opted out of doing a class auction basket, so I didn’t get to do one for her. I would have been more than happy to do a class auction basket for her too!
We were supposed to limit our baskets to $75 value, and the class really came through so we were able to do 2 baskets. How awesome is that?! I was dissapointed to see that not everyone followed the rules. There was one basket that had an Apple tv!!! We bid on it but were very quickly outbid.
The first basket I chose was a Bar-b-que basket. I didn’t want to to do 2 of same thing but I was torn on what to pick next. I eventually decided on the game night basket. These were so much fun to shop for!
I hope this inspires you when looking for class auction basket ideas. I know I really enjoyed cruising pinterest for fun ideas!
What are some baskets you have assembled or bid on in the past?! Did you win?!
