I made these diaper cakes earlier this year. I scoured pinterest for dozens of diaper cake ideas and came up with these two.
The princess diaper cake for my niece’s shower and the ducky diaper cake for a friend launching a business and in need of door prizes.
This one cost about $50. The diapers and the ducks there the most expensive. The letter was cheap and the ribbon was cheap and cam be used again.
The diapers portion went together a bit quicker because I had to use fewer rubber bands. I folded them in half and kept about 10 together with one rubber band. The ribbon hid the rubber bands and I kept the ribbon together with hot glue behind the cake.
This one was quite a bit more expensive but I used more diapers and bought a pricey princess outfit. It was only fitting. It was for my niece’s princess!
I used a roll of toilet paper in the center to avoid using an insane amount if diapers and had to hand roll and use rubber bands on EACH AND EVERY diaper. The crown and the princess wand were probably $2 each in the part section at Target. I used hot glue once again to hold the ribbon together.
