That way it's not ME that tells them to get off - it's the board. The mean, nasty board! I'm hoping that will work in our case. I'm lucky in that my kids love veggies. I always had an extra crib mattress to put down by the crib when they went to sleep though after they were old enough to climb out. Then they slept on that mattress without the crib for about 2 or 3 weeks before they got their big bed and they never really fell out of the big bed because of getting use to sleeping on the small space of the crib mattress once it was moved to the floor.
