Aunt Mavis came to visit

had a very fun, BUSY weekend. I’ll try not to bore everyone with all the details but it’s definteley worth recapping. Charlie’s Aunt was in Texas for a conference and when she finished she decided to come visit for the rest of the weekend.

  • Friday- Arrived and dinner at The Catfish Parlour (where I saw a local DJ just as he was leaving so I ddn’t get to say hello. I tweeted it to him later though!)
  • Saturday-Mavis and I hit a couple of garage sales in the morning. (Charlie doesn’t like to go. That’s for sure!!) In the afternoon we went to the lake and ate at Rudy’s BBQ. We also met a boat neighbor. Listening to him talk, we are on THE party dock. FUN! FUN! Mavis really enjoyed the boat and we had some AWESOME wind!!
  • Sunday – Mavis and I shopped!!!!!!!!! Lots of shopping. All boy free. We took her to Maudie’s for dinner. YUM!

    • It was a great weekend and we were able to introduce her to several of our local favorites!

    That was about it!

    I’m back to add that i won a Digi kit from my sweet, friends Shawna Clingerman! YAY! Every friday that she releases a new kit she posts a contest on her blog and someone wins. I got 2 entries since I tweeted about it, too! Anyways. I won! YAY! I already bought the new release, so I got to pick something else!

    I hope she has a call soon. . . now that I left SPD to focus on my blog (yeah, that’s not going so well…. I don’t need to focus on my blog THAT much….) I don’t have as many free goodies. My hubby is gonna kick  my butt if I keep spending $15 every week on new releases. Of course if i buy ONE kit, I have to buy another. No point in ONLY spending $5 on the credit card………….

    Anyways… now that it’s almost spring I really hope some of these girls start having calls so I take on one or two. Plus guest spots. Those are always fun……..

    3. I do not like to drive. I always make my husband do it.
    4. Number 3 being said . . . my dream car has always been a Mercedes something or other convertible. (hahahahahaha)
    5. I’ve tried far too many network marketing oppurtunities. NO more.
    6. I love the rain. Thunder. Lightening.
    7. I loooooooooooove to shop and decorate.
