quick Rundown

Published by Priscilla under Uncategorized

Our close has been delayed until Friday. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Yesterday I packed way too many boxes while Lucas napped. That’s a good thing. That’s a good thing. Then I went to Target. Let’s not talk about that :D . I have an..um, addiction? Okay. So I really needed another pair of pants. Really. I can’t fit into my prepregnancy ones. :) . So there.

Today we went to the mall  and I got a new blue tooth headset. It’s hard to hold a baby, rolland talk on the phone. Try and you will see my point. Okay. Nevermind.  BAd idea. Just take my word for it.

Packing, Packing and more…packing?

Published by Priscilla under Uncategorized

A few more days and we close!! YAY!!!

We are all sooooo tired and worn out though. We packed almost the entire weekend and got this in order for our fridge and dishwasher. We did decide to “return” the dishwasher and found a better one on Craig’s List.

Um, yeah. That’s not going so well. I posted some listing and got very few inquiries. We have to much STUFF. We plan to have a garage sale but I don’t really know if we have much worth trying to sell.

Ok. Lucas is fighting his nap and I deperately need to get my feet up for a little bit. My ankles are HUGE from having them down all weekend.

Like Father, Like Son

Published by Priscilla under William

Will was on the phone with grandma tonight and he was pacing back and forht along the entrance to the garage.  Sound familar? Yup. He was doing JUST what his daddy does.

We decided to stop the order on the LG dishwasher and decided to go with a Bosch. Hopefully it will be better. The reviews appear better anyways. We pick it up sometimes tomorrow.

We ate at CPK afterwards. There was a woman in the bathroom nursing her 3 week old. I offered her my hooter hider. She accepted. I couldn’t stand the thought of her feeding her baby in there YUCK!!

I am still on the hunt for a new diaper bag. I’ve been looking since before Lucas was born and still haven’tfound one that I like and that fits on the back of my chair properly.

Full of Air

Published by Priscilla under Me & Wheeling Tips, William

I really need to remember to pull over and write these things down the moment they happen (okay, that’s not REALLY practical, but it sounds good).

Today we were out shopping and Will told me that the whole world is full of air and wanted to know if it woud run out of air. How is that for his brain turning?

—-

Another thing. I really need to report experiences like this more  often. We were on our way to the van and this women stopped me and told me how much I insprired her and made her realize she didn’t really have it so hard.  She was about my mom’s age and limped a little as if she had arthritis. She wasn’t implying I had it hard, but just wanted to let me know wonderful she thought I was. She made my day a little better. I must have told her thank you about 5 times. LOL.

We oredered our Fridge and Dishwasher too!! The dishwasher doesnt seem to have very mant or good reviews though. Not sure why? Maybe it’s still too new? We didn’t realize this until AFTER. I guess we should have looked at that first. I guess we are going to look at other reviews and decide if we want to chance it or not.

Crunch Time

Published by Priscilla under Uncategorized

We close in one week!! There is still so much to do and we want to have a garage sale on Saturday. If we get rid of stuff before the move it will be better than trying to keep it seperate from what we want to keep.

I’m not 100% sure i want to do it but the extra money will be nice.  The question is if it will be enough to justify the added stress. Either way we have to do something with all the junk.

Lucas only wants to nap for about 15 minutes and that is not enough time to pack and keep the house we are in clean enough to actually live in. I can’t just stop doing what needs to be done.

I will be so glad when we are in the house and don’t have a deadline for unpacking.

Took this back in August. . . and my new style.

Published by Priscilla under Lucas, Me & Wheeling Tips

We took this pic back in August. My mom wanted me to post it and I forgot until I was searching pictures for everyone’s “profile”.

He may turn orange.

Published by Priscilla under Lucas

I forgot to give the latest details on food. Lucas cries when I feed him Rice Cereal. Literally. He will eat Oatmeal with banana and apple.

He loves sweet potatoes (homemade ;) ) with a little cinnamon. He has them almost EVERY day.

He’s ok with banana, and dislikes peas and peaches. Oh. And Avocado.

That’s it. :) I plan to try some new veggies once we settle in the new house.

The day behind us.

Published by Priscilla under Uncategorized

For those that don’t speak William, that means yesterday. So from now on I plan to be a better blogger. I really want to keep others up to date and have fun doing it. So today is a new day.

Lucas has had a stuffy nose for a couple of weeks now and it’s dragging us down. He was sleeping ALL night and now…not so much. His nose wakes him up and we have to suction it and the only thing that gets him back to sleep is a “top off”, as we call it. :)

Will is doing great and I found a school for him once we move. He will go M-W-F from 9 am-2 pm. It’ll be quite a change for all of us.

Charlie and I are busy with our respective duties involving the new house. We are pretty well packed, except for a few closets and things we use daily. That will have to wait until the day before or day of the move.

I can’t believe it’s next week. We are really excited and looking forward to the new house.

Another thing about Will I keep forgetting to record…. He’s such a silly and smart boy. We have never really come up with different names for Charlie’s parents or my mom and step dad. So Will distinguishes them as the one with a grandma/grandpa or the one without.

Ok, that’s it.

I'm really not bored. I promise.

I found this fun blog. The secret is in the Sauce.

Maybe it’ll inspire me to post more so I can get comments. I meant who doesn’t love attention?
