The wheelchair mommy

Tuesday we had friends over for dinner .. Will’s high chair was used for the first time — not by him . We turned it on the Vinyl side and its a good thing we did .. .Slobbery cherrios got smashed in it We knew that would happen so thats why we turned it around.

Will has been on a really good schedule. He’s almost always asleep by 10PM and up REALLY close to 5:30 and again at 7:30. DH thinks we could set a clock to him.

His daytime naps vary a little more but he gets about 3 of those . Usually around 9AM,1PM, and 4PM.

He has his first “date” today I am meeting a friend named Amy for coffee and she has a little girl a month younger than Will.

Had a nice weekend, for the most part. Went to the mall and got my hair cut/brows saturday…i like it but then i saw a pic of myslef from the day before and want the long back

oh well, ironicly i will likely go even SHORTer next time

after the mall we went to the park . . . it was a lovely day! so many people and babies were out!!

Will got hungry so we sat in the grass and i fed him, then we took pics.

Sunday we go up earlyish and went to a neighbor’s party. i met 2 new moms but misplaced their #s

Will got a little over stimulated i think…he napped from about 11:45-12:15 and the we headed home cause FIL and DH’s Aunt got into town.

we ate at PF Changs and then things went down hill……
will wont BF in public (too darn nosey to have his face in my chest) so i gave him a bottle (formula). i think it upset his tummy….again. i MUST find time to pump for the 2.5 days he’s going to be at my moms or find a formula he can tolerate

too make a long story short he didnt go down until around 10 pm and napped less than 2 hours in 13 hour time period…he fought us tooth and nail . . anyways he slept GREAT last night tho.

I can finally get the carseat in alone … I’m sure I would have been able to do it all along, we just never had the chance to “practice” !! But I am sooo excited!!

Here is the process:

# use a recliner to load him in the carseat
# place the carseat on my lap and into the stroller (travel systemish)
# go out to the garage and after taking the carseat out of the stroller I put it in the front passenger seat
# I put the stroller in the trunk
# I get in the car and put the wheels on the seat behind me
# Then I lay my seat back and place the car seat into the base (up, over and behind me)
# then I put my chair on the passenger like I always did and off we go

Will has 2 new “tricks”

* Waits for a CLEAN diaper before he’ll poop, unless its during the night
* Puts is hand in my shirt (now I know I WANT to stop this one, but right now its sooooooo cute . . .he’s only done it a few times so I have time to stop it before he gets older
* oh and I MIGHT cut my hair short . . he is slowly starting to find my hair
* He rarely fusses if I am holding him sitting down (doh, I cant stand up AT ALL) but if he sees someone he knows walking around he will get p!$$y so they will walk him around
* he loves to look at himself in his fishy aqaurium mirror

I think thats it, I know its more than 2. LOL.
